Aztex WD600, 625 & 650 Drainage Geocomposites
WD600, WD625, & WD650
Suitable for vertical or inclined structures and ground drains, also plays an important role in protecting structure waterproofing as well as landfill capping.
The composite consists of a black polymer extruded grid core covered on both sides with a non-woven fi lter by thermal bonding.

Drainage & Landfill Capping
Landfill capping layers often consist of a mineral sealing layer which prevents surface water from being introduced into the waste material. To safely drain off excessive rainwater to a suitable discharge point, a drainage composite such as WD600/4 can be used as a cost effective alternative to granular materials.
Where a geomembrane liner is used, WD 600/4 provides drainage along with protection against damage to the geomembrane.
Conventional methods for landfill drainage and venting may take a great thickness of aggregate, carefully placed and compacted. Unravelling a roll of drainage composite material, weighting down in place, and back filling over can be far more practicable and cost effective. The reduced thickness of a drainage composite maximises the volume available for waste material within the landfill.
