Aztex Turf Protecta

Aztex TurfProtecta™ is an extruded polyethylene mesh which is tough, flexible and long lasting and is supplied in 2m wide x 30m long rolls and in two grades (Standard and Heavy).

Aztex TurfProtecta™ can be effectively employed over stable ground by simply unrolling and fixing adjacent and successive lengths. After a suitable period of time, the grass will have grown through the mesh and reached a convenient height to be mown, where it can be rolled and fertilised as usual. When fully established, the area adopts a natural appearance with the grass plants intertwined with the mesh to provide a permanent protection against wear.

Installation is ideally carried out during the growing season to allow a strong interlock between the mesh and the sward. However, more growing time must be allowed if installed out of season.
